Strip Poker Strategy

The most important piece of strategy involved in playing strip poker is organizing the right group of players for the game. If the table is made up of people that a) you wouldn’t want to see naked, or b) you wouldn’t want to have see YOU naked (like your boss, your mother, or an IRS agent), you are not going to have any fun, and you most definitely shouldn’t play. If the game is going to be populated with people who you know will be too uptight to get completely nude, you should also consider a different game, like Twister, to break the ice. But if you can surround yourself by willing, attractive participants, preferably with a majority of them being of the sex that you yourself gravitate towards, and you have some manner of intoxicants to lubricate the game along, chances are you are going to have a GREAT time playing strip poker.

Once you have the right group assembled, your next strategy decision involves whether you want to try and win or lose. If the game is being played with five-card showdown, where the only cards the players are dealt are their original hands, and only the best hand doesn’t have to remove clothing, there is really nothing you can do to improve your chances of winning or losing, apart from stacking the deck or cheating in some other way (if you are playing with people who know NOTHING about poker, you can make up winning hands such as an “even card straight” with the 2-4-6-8-10, in order to convince the others that you have a better hand than their full houses. This type of chicanery is usually only possible with highly inebriated novices who don’t want to admit that they have never played poker before). However, if you are playing with chips that translate into various articles of clothing, you can take advantage of weaker players by folding and/or forcing the action based on what you hold.

Since people playing strip poker have usually ingested a fair amount of alcohol or other mind-altering substances, they will usually stay in hands even if they have the option to fold. After all, there’s no fun in folding, is there? These are the players who are most likely to end up naked fastest, and you should avail yourself of the opportunity to get as many articles of clothing from them as possible when you have a big hand, like a made straight or flush, or three-of-a-kind. Most of the time, these hands will be winners, and you will be still clothed while the others are in various states of undress.

Go into the game with the idea of pushing things as far as the other players are comfortable with. After all, the purpose of the game is to loosen people’s inhibitions, so that strip poker might lead to other “games.” If players are already naked, come up with some devilish tasks for them to perform in front of the group if they lose further hands. Take things to a point where people might be embarrassed, but not offended. As long as people are having fun, strip poker is sexy, titillating and arousing. Keep your strip poker game that way, and you are sure to be pleased with the results of the evening!
