Frenchman Christophe Benzimra Takes EPT Warsaw Title Season 6 of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour was well underway when the EPT made its stop in Warsaw Poland on October 20. Though the registration numbers were sure to be lower than London, Warsaw’s history was still appealing to many, as well as the fact that it was part of the biggest poker tour on European soil each year. So players gathered with their 25,000 PLN currency at the Casinos Poland for the tournament.

While organizers expected a large turnout, they were pleasantly surprised when it became the largest tournament ever to be held in the UK.

EPT Kicks Off Season Six with Lykov Winning Kyiv The European Poker Tour was scheduled to kick off its sixth season in Moscow with its first foray into that part of the world, but when Russia declared poker no longer a sport and casinos closed, the change was made to move the tour stop to Kyiv, Ukraine. The Kyiv Sports Palace was the venue, and players changed their travel plans to visit the Ukraine for the much-anticipated start of the EPT’s new season.
