Crazy Pineapple (8 or Better)

Crazy Pineapple Eight or Better is a high-low variation of the Crazy Pineapple poker game. The main difference between these two variations is that in the game of 8 or better the pot is split between the best lowest and the best highest hands. However, as the highest card combination is always present in the game, the lowest can only be collected by using the five unpaired cards that are either equal to eight or lower. Straights and flushes have no influence on the low hand therefore it can be used for both low and high combinations. The players may use two, one or none of their hole cards to make the lowest or the highest hand. For example, if the player has AA with 2 4 5 7 K on the table, the best high hand would be AAK75 whereas the best low hand – A2457. A2345 is the best-possible low card combination and 45678 – the worst. If none of the players claim for the low part of the pot, all the money goes to the one with the highest hand.
